  Had a toilet in the basement with a up flush pump that went bad. Found Fred's plumbing on google and asked if they could fix it.Their plumber Andy was very friendly on the phone and told me they would have to order the part. The part was going to be around $800 and he said the labor would cost me $82. I agreed to it and they ordered the part. 2 weeks later i did not hear anything. No one ever came over to look at the toilet and the pump. I was asked over the phone to give them the name of the brand and model of the pump and i was told where i could locate the information on the unit its self. There was no paper work and no signature or documentation of the work order of any sort. Finally i called them back and the receptionist answered the phone and told me that the part was in and we could figure out what day they could come. Then she called me back later that day saying that they never agreed on how much the labor would be. I told her that I would not have agreed to have them work on it if i didn't know how much the labor would be. She said that they had never worked on a up flush toilet before and that they didn't know how many hours it would take. I asked if she could give me a ball park on the hours so that i could have an idea of how much it would be. She replied no she could not and if didn't like the amount of hours it would take that I would have to eat the shipping cost of the part they ordered.
  
  1) I would have never agreed to a work order where i did not have a range of how many hours it would take.
  
  2) Up to this point i never saw a face or a piece of documentation from this company.
  
  3) When she finally called me back to tell me that she could not tell me how many hours it would take to fix this and that they had never worked on this type of a job before she threatened me with the shipping bill.
  
  4) When i asked for a ball park estimate of the hours of labor even though they originally told me 1 hour, the receptionist said "You can just find someone else to work on your issue then"
  
  I have never dealt with a business as unprofessional as this one.
